Louise “Tiny” Kerns, 91 of Webster passed away Monday, February 16, 2026 at Mon Marion Hospital, Fairmont, WV. She was born December 6, 1934 in Grafton, daughter of the late Alonzo and Lottie Mitchell Streets. Tiny was preceded death by her husband Ronald Lee Kerns, on September 26, 2021.
Tiny carried her role as a homemaker with deep pride and quiet joy. She found happiness in the gentle rhythm of sewing — whether carefully mending a well-worn sleeve or creating something special stitched with love. As she moved about the house, her voice would softly rise in her favorite hymns, filling every room with warmth and comfort.
Music wasn’t just something Tiny enjoyed — it was part of her spirit. She traveled throughout West Virginia and surrounding states singing Gospel music with the Gospel Travelairs, sharing her faith and her radiant smile wherever she went. When she sang, you could feel the joy in her heart. Tiny was a faithful member of the of the Message of Freedom Church.
She found delight in life’s simple pleasures — going to the races, shopping with friends and family, or even enjoying an afternoon out on her own. Tiny never met a stranger; she had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcome, as if they had known her forever. She simply loved being around people.
Above all, Tiny loved her family. The moments she shared with each of them were treasures she held close, and the love she gave so freely will continue to echo in their hearts forever.
Tiny is survived by two daughters, Judy Dawson (Dennis) and Karen Rutherford; one son, Randy Kerns (Jill), five grandchildren, Amber Baker (Rick), Brandon Peters (Rachael), D.J. Dawson (Lindsey), Harley Phillips (Gabe), and Dylan Peters; five great grandchildren, Sawyer Baker, Landry Phillips, Ryker Dawson, Quinne Dawson, and Letty Phillips; one sister, Georgia Kerns; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Tiny was preceded in death by one grandson, Mitchell Kerns.
