Lorita Ann “Rita” Skiles, 63 of Grafton passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at her sister home Debra Blair, She was born in Clarksburg, WV, June 21, 1957, daughter of the late Richard Lee Scott, Sr. and Erma Joan Livingston. She is survived by her husband Dennis “Bub” W. Skiles, Grafton. They were married June 21, 1976.
She graduated from Grafton High School Class of 1976, worked for the Taylor County DHHR and Tygart Lake Lodge. Rita loved to camp, crochet, cook, and above all loved her grandbabies. She enjoyed being with family and friends.
Rita is survived by two sons, Dennis Skiles and wife Christina , Steve Skiles and companion Danielle, one stepdaughter, Cheryl Jones Knotts and husband Steve all of Grafton, two sisters, Debra Blair and husband Earl Reynoldsville, Rebecca Green and companion Louie Stevens, five brothers, Richard “Ricky” Scott, Jr., and wife Kathy, Robert A. Scott both of Bridgeport, Ralph D. Scott, and wife Lee, Shinnston Roger D. Scott, and wife Sherrol, Grafton, Timothy W. Scott, and wife Twyla, Reynoldsville, eight grandchildren, Kyle Jones, Katelyn Jones, Kayla Jones, Hayla Skiles, Skyler Skiles, Cory Skiles, Shawn Skiles, Lily Skiles, and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Scott, grandson, Chase Jones, one sister-in-law, Diannia Scott.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 2:00PM to 8:00PM. with proper distancing and face mask preferred. Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 30, 2020 , at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Gerone Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at the WV.
