Lonnie Ray Weaver, 70 of Grafton passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Taylor Health Care Center. He was born in Hamtramck, MI. on March 7, 1955, son of the late Leon and Virginia Belle Kennedy Weaver.
Lonnie worked several years at Refuse Control for Lee Fauley who treated him as family. He enjoyed sharing time and stories with his friends and family. Lonnie could be the Life of the Party and will be greatly missed by his friends, especially those at the Strand Pool Room. He liked the being in the outdoors and was a friend to all those who knew him.
Lonnie is survived by, one daughter, Destiny Weaver, three sons, Roger Warren Clayton, Lonnie Ray Weaver, Justin Weaver, two sisters, Sue Bice (John) and Laura Belle Jones (Gary); one brother, Jerry Weaver; two special friends, Carla Barnes, and Fred Wolfe, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Lonnie is preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Sheme, and Rita Faye Weaver who died in infancy; one brother, Ernest Weaver.
Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM the hour of the funeral with Pastor Mark Miller officiating.
