Leota Frances Halsey, 93 of Grafton passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Pierpoint Center in Fairmont. She was born February 2, 1928 in San Diego, CA, daughter of the late John D and Julia Jane Fosnaugle Stephens. Leota was a homemaker. She was a member of the VFW Memorial City Post 3081 Ladies Auxiliary and the Rio Linda United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Leota is survived by her four children, Barbara Robison and David, Grafton, Virginia Taylor and Rodney, Crystal River, FL, Jeannette Reyes and Frankie, Sacramento, CA, Norman Halsey and Donna, Keizer, OR; numerous, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Leota was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Ellsworth Halsey in 1994; one son, David Walter Halsey; one grandson, Troy Smith; four siblings, John C, Royal J, Luella M and Thelma M. Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, Grafton on Wednesday November 17, 2021 from 2PM to until time of Funeral Service at 5:00PM with Pastor Judith Flynn officiating.
