Leonard William Bartlett, Sr. 74, of Flemington passed away at his residence on Tuesday May 7, 2024 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Rosemont on September 27,1949, son of the late Wayne W. and Evelyn Shugars Bartlett. Leonard is survived by his wife Julie Jenkins Bartlett whom he married on October 5, 1973 spending more than fifty years together.
Leonard was a truck driver and worked for the Mountaineer Greenhouse in Flemington. He liked to go fishing and enjoyed the outdoors. Leonard traveled while going to yard sales and finding many treasures. He liked singing even when no one was listening. Leonard loved his family and enjoyed the time he spent with each of them especially his grandchildren
In addition to his wife, Leonard is survived by three sons, Robert Bartlett (Sheri), Leonard W. Bartlett, Jr. (Kim) both of Flemington, Rex Bartlett (Crystal) Mannington; nine grandchildren, Chelsey, Justin, Michael, LaDonna, Nathan, Chanda, Shianne, Jocelyn, and Joey; eight great grandchildren, Colt, Dawson, Emilee, Theo, Cera, Amaya, Ethan, and Grayson, three brothers, Michael Bartlett, Roger Bartlett, and Wayne Bartlett, three sisters, Joann Campbell, Mary Gawthrop (Rick), Diane Ketterman; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Leonard was preceded in death by one brother, Carl E. Bartlett
Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Friday May 10, 2024 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM and on Saturday May 11, 2024 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM the hour of the funeral with Layman Carl Bartlett officiating.
