Larry Bartlett O'Connor

Larry Bartlett O’Connor, 85 of Grafton passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Clarksburg Health Care Center with family by his side. He was born August 17, 1938 in Lumberport, WV, son of the late John O’Connor and wife Virginia “Toots” and Viva Barnes O’Connor. Larry graduated from Lumberport High School. He served our country in the United States Navy and worked as a computer technician and retired from AT&T where he worked all over the world. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and spending time at Bob’s 76 Station and Jerry’s Restaurant catching up on the daily news. He is survived by his wife Linda Ridenour O’Connor whom he married on March 1, 1989; stepdaughter Stacy Poling and Jimmy; three grandchildren, Tanner Bolyard and Jessica, Brenden Poling and Matthew “Chase” Poling; three great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Raelyn, and Parker; one sister, Margaret “Mimi” Martin; one brother, John Paul O’Connor and Paulette; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his son, Larry “Brian” O’Connor; several aunts and uncles. Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM and on Friday November 10, 2023 from 8:00AM until the hour of the funeral at 10:00AM with Pastor Shane Wolford officiating. Interment will follow at West Virginia National Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the US Navy Honor Guard.
