Kenneth Shuman Obituary

Kenneth Guy Shuman, 88 of Thornton passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 of Genesis Tygart Center in Fairmont, WV. He was born April 16, 1933 in Barbour County, a son of the late Clem Shuman and Edna Riggs Shuman.

Kenneth retired from Builders Service and Supply. He loved carpentry work and took great pride in his woodworking. He was always willing to build anything anyone requested and was a perfectionist. He loved spending time with family and taking care of his cats. Kenneth never met a stranger and was always willing to share his stories with others. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Kenneth is survived by one sister, Mary E. Swisher of Thornton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Griffith Shuman, one son, Michael A. Shuman, three brothers, James Shuman, Herbert Shuman, Joseph Shuman, and one sister Janie Jones.
