Katherine Irene Forsyth

Katherine Irene Forsyth, 59, of Grafton, passed away on Monday, March 2,2026 at Untied Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV. Katherine was born on December 20, 1966 in Washington, PA. daughter of the late Charles Wendell and Doris Jean Gray Moore.

Katherine was a homemaker, and she embraced that role with her whole heart. She found joy in the simple, meaningful moments of daily life—preparing her family’s favorite meals, caring for her beautiful flower beds, and tending to the gardens that brought her so much peace. Katherine especially loved taking long walks around the farm, soaking in the beauty of a glowing sunset, the warmth of the sunshine, and the quiet serenity of the countryside. Above all else, she cherished the time spent with her family, creating memories with each of them that would be treasured for years to come.

 She is survived by two children, Katrina Stewart (Josh), David Forsyth (Kate); five grandchildren, Tytus, Ezekiel, Annora, Odin and Xandra; one sister, Glenna Sue Lucy.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving son, Dustin Forsyth and her soul mate, Ricky Ross.

To honor the wishes of Katherine she will be cremated and a Celebration of her Life will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her care fund on her memorial page.
