Karl Ashley Martin, 65 of Shinnston passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at his residence with family by his side. He was born February 15, 1955 in King’s Lynn England, son of the late Albert Quentin and Ruby Rose Martin. Karl graduated High School and served his country in the United States Marines and the United States Air Force. He was a truck driver for JB Trucking, National Freight and retired from Central Supply as a concrete driver. He was a collector of many things and enjoyed the outdoors and doing landscaping. He is survived by his son, Scott Andrew Martin and wife Kimberly, and Scott’s mother, Irene Michelle Gower Martin all of Shinnston; stepdaughter, Michelle Lorraine Ross, Winchester, VA; four grandchildren, Xavier Aaron Storm Martin, Darius Allen Starkey, Brylan Darl Goodnow, and Klarissa Dawn Sullivan; two brothers, Mark Martin, Fairmont and Bill Martin, Kings Lynn, England. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Aaron Martin. Bartlett Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the cremation and honored to serve the Martin family.
