Karen Sue Lantz, 58 of Webster, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at Grafton City Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born October 5, 1964 in Philippi, a daughter of the late Dwight Poe and is survived by her mother, Beatrice House Poe, Thomas, WV. Karen is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Junior Lantz, they were married, September 23, 1991
Karen worked many years caring for others with Companion Care and was a Medical Assistant. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends, and was well known for her famous chicken and dumplings. Karen liked being in the outdoors and going fishing. She was a loving wife, mother, she loved her family with all her heart and treasured all the time she spent with each of them.
In addition to her husband and mother Karen is survived by one son. Robert Joseph Lantz, five daughters, Jesicia Lantz (Chad), Amber Lantz, Ashley Kimbrel (Sam), Heaven Lantz, and Karen Lantz all of Grafton, two sisters, Mary Lou Niemenski (Skip), Chrissy Poe both of Parson, two brothers, Timmy Poe (Litisha), Robert Ray Poe both of Parsons, step-sister, Crystal Mumpire, two step-brothers, Michael Mumpire Grafton, Johnny Mumpire, Arden.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Ray Poe.
Family and friends may call for visitation at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, WV, on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM the hour and Friday October 21, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM the hour of the funeral with Pastor Mike Stottlemeyer and her son Minister Robert Lantz officiating.
