Joy Sharon Spino

Joy Sharon Spino 68, of Grafton passed away on December 28, 2021 at Grafton City Hospital as a result of Covid-19. She was born in Grafton on July 21, 1953, daughter of the late Sam and June Lemon Spino.

Joy was a graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1971.  Joy worked as a waitress at Four Corners Restaurant giving her the opportunity to meet new people while making lots of friends. She last worked at the Frank Faulkner State Farm Insurance office for many years until she retired.  She liked to always have something to do or a project to work on especially remodeling. Joy was a shopper, liked going to yard sales, being outdoors, relaxing with a good book, being on Facebook, and spending time making memories with her friends and family. Joy loved her family and will be greatly missed by them and her many friends.

Joy is survived by her daughter, Destiny Loar and fiancé Thomas Rice, Grafton; brother, John Spino (Sheila), Grafton; her husband Robert Frank Loar Sr., Grafton; Destiny’s sister, Virginia Lynn Loar, Destiny’s brother, Robert Frank Loar, Jr; special cousins, Catherine Roros, Nick Roros, James Roros, all of Balitmore MD., JJ Jones, Grafton, and a very special cousin,  Susie Lynch, Grafton.

In addition to her parents Joy was preceded in death by her son, David Michael Jones; special cousin Mary Roros.

Family and friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home on and Thursday December 30, 2021 from 2PM to 7PM and Friday December 31, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM the hour of the funeral with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating.
