Joseph "Joe" Alexander Martin

Joseph Alexander Martin, 68, of Clarksburg formerly of Grafton, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at his residence in Clarksburg. He was born in Grafton, December 15, 1953, son of the late June Alexander and Gladys Poling Martin.

Joe worked many years as a security guard for Allied Burton, Coke, Veterans Hospital and at an airport. He enjoyed spending lots of time woodworking, playing his guitar, loved going camping and being in the outdoors. Joe was from a big family and enjoyed the time he spent with all his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Joe is survived by three children, Joseph Martin, Melissa Allen and Justin Martin (Crystal) all  of Clarksburg, Joe’s Companion, Terri Maddox, thirteen grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Mykaela, Jeremy, Emmalee, Avaiah, Joella, Alex, Alysha, Joseph, Jordan, Cindy, Alexis, and Ambre, and two great grandchildren, Avery and Jaxson, two sisters, Marie Martin and Sue Abele (George), four brothers, Clyde Martin (Debbie), Clark Martin, Jay Martin, and Jimmy Martin.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters, Catherine Rosier, Robert Martin, Clarence Martin, Charles Martin, Richard Martin, Ronald Martin and David Martin.
