Jonathan "Eddie" Sharp

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Jonathan “Eddie” Sharp of Grafton, passed away at his home Sunday morning, August 14, 2022 after struggling 3 years with liver and Covid complications.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Evelyn Thorp Sharp and 2 sisters Martha Bolyard and Linda Eisnnicher.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Fitzwater Sharp, and his children: Todd Leonard and Maria Sharp of Carmel, CA, Traci and Matt Stead of Morgantown, WV, two grandsons Jack Stead, Atlanta, GA, and Amos Stead, Asheville, NC. Also surviving are four brothers Loney & Pat, LeRoy & Linda, Bob & Robin, Fred & Dianna, sisters Mary Jo Suoja, Ann & Ronnie Kisamore, Dianne England, Carolyn Reed, Charlotte & Gary Salley, and Rose & Jim Gragg along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Eddie was a railroader by trade, member & elder at Blueville Church of Christ, and a farmer through and through.

Visitation Friday, August 19, 2022 from 3-7PM at Bartlett Funeral Home, Funeral is Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the Blueville Church of Christ at 11AM, with Evangelist Jeff Tucker officiating.
