John Allen Pinnell, age 59, of Middleville Road, Bridgeport, passed away at his home, Monday, November 21, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born in Grafton, February 6, 1963, a son of the late Carl E. and Hazel L. (Bond) Pinnell.
John was a 1981 graduate of Grafton High School, he was employed as a mechanic at the Grafton Exxon since 1981. He enjoyed bowling, demolition derbies, hunting and fishing.
His wife, Jennifer L. (Turoczy) Pinnell survives, they were united in marriage December 13, 1990. Also surviving are: three sons, Zachary Pinnell and Rebecca of Bridgeport, Blayde Pinnell, of Huntington, and Jason Pinnell and Miranda, of Georgia; one daughter, Desirea Pinnell, of Philippi; several grandchildren; two special little ones, Jacob and Bella; three brothers, Rich Pinnell and Sandy, Butch Pinnell, and Chuck Pinnell, all of Grafton; one sister, Sandy Pinnell Davis, of Grafton; three sisters in law, Beverly Turoczy, of Bridgeport, Mary Ann Hurst, of Flemington, and Susan Tate and husband Gary, of Shinnston; one brother in law, Robert “Bobby” Turoczy and wife Kelly, of Flemington; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister in law, Nancy Pinnell, and one brother in law, Kevin Hurst.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Wednesday, November 23rd, from 2-7 pm. Cremation will follow per John’s wishes.
