John Frederick Lambert

John Frederick Lambert 72, of Simpson passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Grafton City Hospital. He was born in Philippi, June 6, 1951, son of the late Charles Floyd and Louise Virginia Jaco Lambert.

John worked at the Taylor County Sheltered Workshop and enjoyed watching game shows on television. His favorites were Jeopardy, Hollywood Squares and the Match Game. He enjoyed watching Grafton Bearcat football, the Fairmont State College football and basketball teams but best of all the NEW YORK JETS! John also liked to write and draw as a past time.

John is survived by four brothers, Charlie Lambert (Linda Jean), Virginia, David Lambert (Linda), Bridgeport, Bill Lambert (Phyllis), Simpson, Steve Lambert, Grafton; two sisters, Catherine Humphery, Grafton, Zena Reynolds (Dennis), Morgantown; several nieces and nephews.

John requested to be cremated. He will be honored with a Private Family Memorial Service to be held at a later date. Donations can be made in Johns’ memory to a church or charity of choice.
