John Michael Hulley, 71, of Grafton passed away Wednesday August 24, 2022 at Grafton City Hospital with his family by his side. He was born August 31, 1950, in Grafton, son of the late John and Mary Virginia Isner Hulley. John is survived by his wife Marlene Riggleman Hulley, they were married on June 15, 1974 spending more than forty eight wonderful years together.
Mike was a graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1968. He retired from the West Virginia Department of Corrections with over twenty- seven years of service. He was a Methodist by faith, a Mason 32nd Degree, and a Gideon. He enjoyed bowling, playing golf and was a collector. He loved being with his family and was proud to be called a husband, dad and pappy. He thought of his family as his greatest blessings. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by one daughter, Kelly Hulley, Morgantown, one son Alan Hulley and wife Bonnie, Flemington, three grandchildren, Reagan, Landen and Kamden, one sister and brother--in-law, Roger and Sandy Shumaker, Grafton, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents Mike was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Hulley.
Family and friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., on Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM and on Monday August 29, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 11:00 AM with his son Pastor Alan Hulley officiating.
