Obituary
John Duray Conrad, Sr. of Grafton, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at his home. He was born on May 22, 1944 in Fairfax, VA., son of the late Norman and Ruth Le Masters Conrad. John is survived by his wife Marilyn Scudder Conrad.
John was an ironworker for many years and loved being in the outdoors. He enjoyed watching NASCAR as a pastime with his favorite drivers being Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt Sr. He loved the time he spent with his family and friends.
John is survived by one son, John “Jay” Conrad, JR. (Stacy), three grandchildren, Nicholas, Daniel, and Stacy, one sister, Carol Conrad, WV, one brother, Dave Conrad, KY.
In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Conrad.
