Jo Ann Haskins 88, of Palm Bay, FL, formerly of Grafton passed away on Thursday March 18, 2021 at the Health First-William Childs Hospice House. She was born October 9, 1932, in Rowlesburg, WV, a daughter to the late Glen Fortney and Virginia (Shafer) Fortney. On September 12, 1953, Jo Ann was married to Claude Richard “Dick” Haskins, who preceded her in death on September 12, 1997.
Jo Ann loved to play bingo and to gamble. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
Jo Ann is survived by one son, Jeffrey Alan Haskins, Titusville, FL; three daughters, Kimberly Ann (Michael) Dier, Melbourne, FL., Traci Jo Haskins, Palm Bay, FL and Kelly Lynn (Dicky) Duckworth, Grafton; five grandchildren, Kari Croston, Jaime Ekis, Caitlin Duckworth, Shawn Dier and Trajan Duckworth; one great grandchild, Haven Duckworth; six brothers, Richard Fortney, Robert Fortney, Larry Fortney, Dennis Fortney, Billy Fortney and Keith Fortney; and by one sister, Sharon Elder.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Gorrell and Susie Fisher.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM and on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM, the hour of the funeral with Pastor Nicole Olinski officiating with proper distancing and mask required.
