James Thomas Tucker, 81 of Grafton, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Davis Memorial Hospital. He was born in Grafton, May 31, 1940, son of the late Russell Lee and Adrian Withers Tucker Dunham. Jim was married to Mary Neason Tucker, February 1, 1964.
Jim was a graduate of Grafton High School, class of 1958. He retired Dominion Hope with over thirty-seven and a half years and last worked as a well tender. Jim was a scroll saw artist for over twenty-five years. He was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church. Jim was an outdoors man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing a good game of golf.
In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by one brother, Richard K. Tucker (Judy) Denver, CO. one sister in-law Sharon Neason, one brother in-law Louis Neason Jr., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by one brother and one sister-in-law, Robert Lee Tucker (Bernice), one nephew, Stephen Tucker, his mother in-law and father in-law, Margaret Posten and Louis Neason.
All services will be private and interment will be at Woodsdale Memorial Gardens.
