James “Jamie” Paul Moran, 53 of Grafton passed away Friday, May 24, 2024 in Grafton, He was born in Fairmont, WV on April 11, 1971 son of Carolyn James Moran, and was preceded in death by his dad, James “Jake” Thomas Moran.
Jamie graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1989 and attended Glenville State College. He was a CDL driver and worked at Dyna-Mix as a laborer. He was an avid sports fan, always following the Miami Hurricane football team. Jamie enjoyed playing golf and going on long motorcycle rides through the country side. He loved his family and spending time making special memories with each of them.
Jamie is survived by one brother, William “Andy” Anthony Moran, Ky; one sister, Joyce Janay Gomez, TX; five nieces and nephews, Montana, Ty, Payne, Coy, and Jacob; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his dad, Jamie was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Don and Grace Moran, maternal grandparents, Charlie James, Mary Kay Jones and Richard “Jonsey” Jones.
Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 3PM until 7PM the hour of the funeral with Tom Hart officiating.
