James Ward Obituary

James Finley Ward, 81 of Grafton passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Grafton, March 29, 1938, a son of the late Wilbur Ward and Mary Margaret Finley Ward Bennet

He was a graduate of Grafton High School, and was a Veteran of the US. Army, worked for many years at Montgomery Ward, enjoyed playing golf, watching old movies especially Westerns, and enjoyed photography.

Jim is survived by four children, James “Rusty” Ward and wife Paula, Arizona, Jerry Ward, Julie Dudley, Jennifer Ward, all of Michigan, eight grandchildren, Erik Ward, Emily Ward, Megan Ward, Sara Ward, Jacob Ward, Brittany Ward, Lynsey Dudley, and Sydney Dudley, one great granddaughter, Liliahna Ward, one brother, Richard Ward and wife Clara, Delaware, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Ward.

At his request, he will be cremated and all services will be private.
