James Scott Duncan

James “Jim” Scott Duncan, 56 of Thornton passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023. He was born May 21, 1967 in Washington, DC, son of the late Ernest Lee and Barbara Annette McBee Duncan. Jim worked several jobs including at the Pruntytown Correctional Facility, CSX Railroad, Walmart, and Sam’s Club.  He collected Coins, Baseball Cards. Jim enjoyed playing darts, traveling, reading and spending time with the family.  He is survived by three children, Cerinity Duncan, Fairmont, Cheyenne Duncan, Grafton, Damrien Newbraugh, Grafton; two siblings, Ernest Martin Duncan and Kellicia, Grafton, Virginia Delawder and Bryon, Shinnston; three nephews, Joshua, Jacob, Wayne, and Cole; one niece, Cassie; several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sheila Lynn Duncan. Arrangements are incomplete at this time and being handled by Bartlett Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his Care Fund on his memorial page.
