Jacqueline “Jackie” Ann Wittman, 89, of Grafton, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026, at Grafton City Hospital. She was born September 21, 1936, the daughter of the late O.B. “Buss” Robinson and Clara Rockwell Robinson, and the granddaughter of Victor and Emma Davis Rockwell and McCleman and Elizabeth Cross Robinson.
Jackie is survived by her wonderful and caring son, Hayward “Robbie” Wittman II. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayward Louis Wittman, on June 15, 2008.
Jackie was a graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1954. She was a member of the GHS Alumni Association and served as chairman of the Class of 1954, where she hosted many class parties. She was a princess in the 1956 Grafton Centennial, a member of the National Federation of Republican Women, president of the Taylor County Republican Women and a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Jackie was appointed Clerk for the Department of Highways by Governor Arch Moore in 1969 and retired after twenty-five years of service to the State of West Virginia. She loved drawing and painting, as well as creating floral arrangements that she shared with friends, sold, and even gave away at her yard sales.
She is survived by many friends and close classmates of over eighty years who remained in touch throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by her family, her close friend Yvonne Harlow, and her beloved family pet.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 11:00AM until 12:00 PM the time of the funeral with Pastor Michael Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Woodsdale Memorial Park.
