Howard Lee Freeze, 81 of Grafton passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at United Hospital Center. He was born February 7, 1942 in Grafton, son of the late Asa Frank Nicola and Lovey May Freeze. He graduated Grafton High School and retired from the United States Air Force with 26 years of service and loved his military brothers and sisters. He collected Carr China and coins. He is survived by one son, Selim Halit Nart-Freeze and wife Gulay, Burnet, TX; two grandsons, Simon and Samuel; his partner of 31 years, David Cantu, Grafton; one niece, Kathy L Carpenter and husband Carl, Kerrville, TX and their children, Jason, Lisa and Kari; to many friends and neighbors to mention. Graveside Service will be help at the WV National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10:00AM with Chaplain Randy Jennings officiating, where full military honors will be accorded by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the US AIr Force Honor Guard.
