Harold “Dusty” Edman Rhodes, 96 of Grafton, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Grafton City Hospital. Dusty was born April 18, 1926, in Clarksburg. He was the son of the late Thurman and Lula Dale Rhodes. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Frances Eileen Rhodes, March 9, 2021
Loving his country and aching to help in WW ll enlisted in the Untied States Navy immediately after graduating from Roosevelt Wilson High School 1944, at the age of 18. When the Korean War started, he enlisted in the Army in 1950. He worked at Fairmont Foods being locally known as the Milkman in Grafton, he retired from United Dairy.
Dusty is survived by a daughter Kimberly Freetage and husband Jerry, Orient OH, four sons; Steven Rhodes and wife Lanie, Donald Rhodes, Grafton, Jim Rhodes and wife April, Grafton, Bill Rhodes, Grafton, six grandchildren, David, Matt, Tara Freetage, Jimmy, Dustin, Dererick Rhodes, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Dusty was preceded in death by one sister, Pauline Kimball. One brother, Darrel Rhodes.
