Gregory "Greg" Cliff Evans

Gregory Cliff Evans, 70, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024 at the Taylor Healthcare Center in Grafton, West Virginia following an extended illness. Greg was born the youngest of three boys on Nov. 04, 1953, to parents Ruth (Ruthie) King Evans and Clarence James

(CJ) Evans who both have preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his late wife Sheri Witherspoon Evans and eldest brother James Ronald (Ron) Evans. Greg is survived by one brother, Mike Evans, Greg's son Clifton James (CJ) Evans and Karen Womeldorff, a long-lime friend and Mother of his son. Greg enjoyed his most previous work as a heavy-haul truck driver in the oil gas industry for Deepwell and TK Stanley.

He got great enjoyment in this line of work and he met many co-workers of whom he cared greatly for.

There were many interests of Greg's but his love for bowling, boating, water skiing, snorkeling, and RVing were among his favorites. Greg's love for life, family and friends was reflective in the genuine kindness and sincere cherriness people felt in his presence. His laugh was big and there is no doubt he has left a warm place in the hearts of all who knew him and he will be truly missed. Greg's son Clifton (CJ) and I would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude for the Taylor Healthcare Center "Angels" all who have given the utmost compassion and excellent care to Greg. Their superior attentiveness to Greg's needs gave us comfort as we knew he was always in the best of care. Thank you All for your tenderness in helping Greg through his long journey. Thank you Amedisys Hospice nurses and staff for seeing Greg through his final days. The care given by all of you is invaluable and truly appreciated. We would also like to recognize and thank Bartlett Funeral Home and Crematory for making our plans for Greg effortless. Your care in all the details for Greg is greatly appreciated.
