Glenn Dorsey “Sike” Ringler, 80 of Grafton passed away at his home on Saturday, April 22, 2023. He was born April 3, 1943 in Grafton, son of the late Guy Harold and Louise N. Glenn Ringler. Sike is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Rebecca “Becky” Morrison Ringler whom he married December 27, 1967.
Sike graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1961. He served his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. Sike worked and retired as a Clerk Operator for B&0, Chessie and CSX. He was an avid WVU Fan and loved all sports, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching cop shows on tv and traveling all over West Virginia.He and Becky enjoyed eating out all over town.
In addition to his wife, Sike is survived by two daughters, Robyn Estel (Gene), Suzanne Ringler; two grandchildren, Samuel Estel and Ainsley Estel; special cousins, Marge and Dave McCutcheon; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Sike was preceded in death by one brother, James Guy Ringler.
Family and friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM with Vicar, Ken Tolley officiating. Interment will follow at the Bluemont Cemetery with full military honors given by the Taylor County Color Guard and the US Air Force Honor Guard.
