George "Bub" Arlus Mayle

George “Bub” Arlus Mayle, 90 of the West Hill Community passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at United Hospital Center with family by his side. He was born December 17, 1933 in Grafton, son of the late Freedy Bliss and Irene Mayle.

Bub worked at the Steel Mills in Ohio, Baby World in Grafton and retired from Fourco Glass. He never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. Bub loved riding horses, hunting, sports, and spending time with his family.

Bub is survived by one son, Tyrone “Tag” Mayle; one grandson, Cody Mayle (Taylor); one granddaughter, Ashley Aliff (Tony); three great grandsons, Christian Mayle (Jaycee), Cyrus Mayle,  and Maddox Adams; two great granddaughters, Ayla Adams and Macie Adams; one great great granddaughter, Mya Mayle, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bub is preceded in death by one son, Mark Mayle; one grandson, Michael Tyrone Aliff; two sisters, Christine Mayle, Donna Lee Mayle; three brothers, Bertzel Mayle, Paul Mayle, and Marcus Mayle.

Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM and on Thursday, December 12, 2024 George will lie in repose at the West Hill Church, from 10:00AM until the funeral hour at 12:00PM (Noon) with Pastor Paul Mullens officiating.
