George Keller Jr. Obituary

George Henry Keller Jr., 70, of the Wilson Ridge Community, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at his home surrounded by love. Born in Grafton on January 16, 1955, he was the son of the late George Henry Keller Sr. and Lena Mae Thompson Keller.

A proud graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1973, George built a life defined by hard work, devotion, and simple joys. He spent many years in construction, working through the Union out of Marion County, and was a man of many trades — a truck driver, a bricklayer, and always ready to lend his hands to help family and friends.

George had a lifelong fascination with trains, knowing each engine by heart. He found joy in adventure, from four-wheeling through the hills to proudly showing off his beloved Mustang. He carried himself with quiet strength, a generous spirit, and a love for the things that made life a little brighter.

He leaves behind his cherished daughter, Brenda Marie Keller, and his dear friend and caregiver, Clara Mitchell, who stood faithfully by his side.

Along with his parents, George was welcomed into heaven by his daughter, Debbie Keller, and his sisters, Vickie McGinnis, Ruth Morris, Vivian Mullins, and Karen Keller.

In keeping with George’s wishes, there will be no formal service. A private interment will take place at Woodsdale Memorial Park.
