Frederick Lee Isner, 75, of Clarksburg, passed away on January 7, 2021, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born on September 19, 1945, in Grafton, a son of the late Hayward Russell and Alice Cora (Glenn) Isner and step mother Virginia (Lake) Isner.
Fred served with US Army with twenty-two years of service, he was a purchasing agent for Pratt Whitney. Fred was a West Virginia University graduate and a member of the West Milford United Methodist Church where he served as treasurer for twenty years. He was a volunteer for the Salvation Army and a strong advocate for the Angel Tree. Fred enjoyed fishing, golfing and being in the outdoors, He was proud of being a husband, father and loved being a grandfather.
Fred is survived by his wife, Donna (Rosati) Isner, the love of his life, they were married May 4, 1968, spending fifty-two wonderful years together, one son Matthew Frederick Isner and wife Jessica of Bridgeport, three grandchildren Connor, Aiden and Aubrey, special cousins Becky Willis and husband Mike of Grafton, Mike Hulley and wife Marlene of Grafton, one sister in law, Barbara Palmer, of Clarksburg, one brother in law, Mike Rosati, of Fairmont and he was a proud uncle to several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by five cousins who were like brothers to him, Jim, Rich, Paul, and John Isner and Mark Hulley, a brother in-law Dr. Dale E. Palmer.
Friends may call for visitation at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. on Tuesday January 12, 2021 from 2-7PM, and on Wednesday January 13, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the hour of the funeral with proper distancing and face mask required. Pastor Mike Hopkins officiating and the Interment will be at the West Virginia National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made and sent to a charity of your choice.
