Fred Poling

Fred Poling 76, of Grafton passed away on Monday May 2, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Grafton, October 9, 1945, son of the late Ernest Ray and Cecelia Marie Ashby Poling. He was married to Barbara Jenkins Poling on June 17, 2003 spending more than eighteen wonderful years together.

Fred retired from the Steele Mills in Ohio, and enjoyed life and the people. He hardly ever missed a day seeing his friends and sharing stories while at McDonalds, where he was part of the morning coffee bunch. He liked to go visit his horse Maggie, being outdoors and talking with people, Fred did not ever meet a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife Fred  is survived by one daughter and a son Frank Jenkins (Pam Zinn), one sister, Darlene Jenkins, one granddaughter Molly Jenkins.

In addition to his parents Fred is preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters; Gladys Marie Martin, Genevieve Snyder, Lona Frey, William Ray Poling, Lula Bell Workman, Loretta Jean Myers, Lester Poling, Linda Lou Weaver, Patricia Ann Poling, Ernest lee Poling and Roy Junior Poling.

Family and friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM the hour of the funeral with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating.
