Frances Eileen Rhodes 85, of Grafton, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at her residence with her loving family by her side. Frances was born July 7, 1935, in Grafton. She was the daughter of Herbert and Ruth Thomas Smith. She married the love of her life Harold Rhodes in 1954 spending more than sixty- six years together.

Frances was a homemaker and enjoyed her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She enjoyed cooking and shopping. Her greatest treasure was her family and she enjoyed every memory she made with each of them. She considered her family her greatest blessing.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter Kimberly Freetage and husband Jerry, of Orient OH, four sons; Steven Rhodes and wife Lanie, Donald Rhodes, of Grafton, Jim Rhodes and wife April, of Grafton, Bill Rhodes, of Grafton, seven grandchildren; David, Matt, Tara Freetage, Jimmy, Dustin, Dererick Rhodes, and Patty Smith-Allison, nine great grandchildren and one on the way, sister Barbara Kimball, of Grafton,  two brothers, Herbert Smith and wife Shirley of Coshocton, OH, Richard Smith and wife Chris, of Grafton, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters; Donna Gallaher, and Patty Kieltyka.
