Frances Maybell Jenkins

Frances Maybell Jenkins 87, Bridgeport formerly of Grafton passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at Grafton City Hospital. She was born November 22, 1936 in Grafton, daughter of the late Morris C. and Bessie Mildred Lewis Garrett.

Frances was a graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1956. She worked many years at Walmart where she met lots of people who became good friends to her over the years. Frances always had a smile on her face and enjoyed being with friends and family at a get to gather or just in passing. She was a member of the Warren United Methodist Church. Frances had a passion for drawing and a went to art school to enhance her talent. She liked going to the bowling alley and bowled on many leagues throughout the years.

Frances is survived by one sister, Betty Phillips of Bridgeport, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Frances is preceded in death by one sister, Dora E. Garrett; six brothers, Morris T. Garrett, John H. Garrett, Fred W. Garrett, Jerry J. Garrett and Ben C. Garrett and Robert Garrett.

Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM (Noon) the hour of the funeral with Pastor Jerry Garrett officiating.
