Evelyn Ann Kisamore, 81, of Grafton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at St. Mary’s in West Virginia at the home of her friend Mary Shingleton and caregiver Diane Nichols surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on November 29, 1944, the daughter of the late Chester and Evelyn Thorp Sharp. Ann was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Roland “Ronnie” Kisamore, who preceded her in death on January 2, 2025.
Ann was a proud graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1962, and a faithful member of Freedom Fellowship Church, where her faith and kind spirit were evident to all who knew her. She devoted her early years to being a loving stay-at-home mother, a role she shared with the neighborhood children that she cherished deeply. Later, she shared her compassionate heart through her work as a Home Health Aide for the Taylor County Senior Citizens, caring for others with patience, dignity, and genuine kindness.
Ann loved to stay busy and enjoyed being on the go, especially when it meant visiting with friends. She treasured time spent with her family above all else, often saying they were her greatest joy and blessing. Her warm smile, gentle nature, and loving presence will be deeply missed by everyone whose life she touched.
She is survived by her three children: Tammy (Wickham) Breedlove and husband Scott of Grafton, WV; James “Jim” Wickham of Yarnell, AZ; and Kristi (Wickham) Campbell and husband Paul of Grafton, WV; former daughter in-law Shirley Wickham, Myrtle Beach, NC; her stepson, Joey Kisamore and wife Holly of Elizabethtown, KY; grandchildren, Justin Breedlove and wife Cara, Ashley Morris and husband Justin, Tyler Wickham and Nicole, Tori Wickham and Dominick, Taryn Schulte and husband JD, Tanner Wickham, Kirsten Robinson and husband Aaron, and Lydia Campbell; step-grandchildren, Kaitlin Kisamore, Gabriel Kisamore, Nevaeh Kisamore, and Maddox Kisamore; special friends who were like grandchildren, Hannah McCrobie and husband Tyler, Eddie Barker, and Taylor Grant; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers, Loney Sharp and wife Pat, LeRoy Sharp, Bob Sharp and wife Robin, and Fred Sharp and wife Dianna; sisters, Mary Jo Suoja, Dianna England, Carolyn Reed, and Charlotte Salley and husband Gary, Rose Gragg and husband Jim; sister in-law, Linda Joyce Sharp; special friends who were like family, Angie Winstanley, Sonya Shingleton, Melissa Wiseman; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Bolyard and Linda Eisnnicher; a brother, Eddie Sharp; brothers-in-laws, Richard Bolyard, Chuck Eisnnicher, Bill Suoja, Sheril England and Brink Reed; and sister in-law, Linda Jean Sharp.
