Eunice Beverly Hickman 78, of Grafton passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Beulah Land Nursing Care. She was born January 14, 1947 in Morgantown, daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Dorothy Lea Titchnell Candlella. Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Roger Hickman September 11, 2021.
Beverly is survived by three sons, James “Jim” Bolyard (Tammy), Charles “Chuck” Bolyard (Stephanie), and John “Boug” Bolyard (Teresa); one sister Mary Ellen Titchnell; several nieces and nephews.
Beverly was a graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1964. She worked many years as a home health aide with Valley Mental Health and other agencies. She was a member of the American Legion Post 12, VFW Post 3081. Beverly was a caring person, taking care of others who just needed a helping hand. She loved caring for her clients caring for them was her world. Beverly was very outgoing, always willing to go to auctions and yard sales gathering treasures for herself and friends. She was a bail bondsman with her late husband Roger. Beverly loved the get together’ s with her friends and family, laughing, telling stories while enjoying a great meal.
In addition to her parents and husband Beverly is preceded in death by one daughter, Cathryne Louise Poling, and one brother, Paul Candella.
To honor Beverly’s wishes she will be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at a late date. Interment will be at the East Oak Grove Cemetery in Morgantown. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.bartlettfuneralhomewv.com Bartlett Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hickman family.
