Ethel Lucille (Kelley) Moore

Ethel Lucille Moore, 81 of Grafton, passed away on Thursday, May 25,2023 at her residence. She was born in Preston County, May 11, 1942, daughter of the late Clarences S. and Viola Beckman Kelley. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Moore, Jr.

Ethel graduated from Tunnelton High School and was a homemaker. She was a faithful member of the First Christian Church and the Wesley Chapel Church. Ethel never seen a person unless she gave them a hug. She liked taking trips to Walmart and McDonalds where she always found someone to talk to. Ethel enjoyed relaxing while reading a good book. She loved spending time with her family and cherished the time she spent with each of them.

 Ethel is survived by five children, Sandy Ammons, David Moore (Mona), Kelly Moore, Sheila Trimble, Anthony Moore,  grandchildren, Justin and Maria, Jeremy  and Jessica, Hannah, C.J., several great grandchildren, three sisters, Bernice Mankins, Christine Williams (Lloyd),Dorothy Williams (Willard), one brother, Harlan Kelley (Linda), one brother-in-law, Charles Patterson, Sr., one sister-in-law, Sharon.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ethel was preceded in death by, four sisters, Florence Patterson, Edith Kelley, Merle Emery, Pearl Paschke, two brothers, Glenn Kelley, Gerald Kelley, two brothers-in-law, Albert Paschke, and Claude Mankins

Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 10:00AM until the hour of the funeral at 1:00PM with Pastor Jeff Hamlin officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a West Virginia Orphanage or an Alzheimer’s Association.
