Ellen “Pauline” Hamilton, 89 of Grafton, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Grafton City Hospital. She was born in Grafton, June 16, 1935, daughter of the late Virgil H. and Eva Lucille Whittman Hamilton.
Pauline was a graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1953. She went to work as an operator for the C&P Telephone Company in Grafton, and moved to the Clarksburg office, retiring with over thirty- three years of service. Pauline enjoyed being in the outdoors, gardening, and canning. She loved the time she spent with her family and friends.
Pauline is survived by, two brothers, Wesley “Sonny” Hamilton (Carol), and Virgil Hamilton “June” (Junie); two sisters, Katherine Lambert, and Barbara L. ”Bobbie Lou” Davis; two nieces, and a nephew that were like her own children, Tammy Minton (Brad), Jamie Rappold, and James H. “Jay” Davis (Amber); several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Pauline was preceded in death by one niece, DeeDee Felton and one great nephew, Jonathan Cassell.
Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM the hour of the funeral with Pastor Ken Heiney officiating.
