Elbert Louis Gene Boyce

Elbert “Boo” Louis Gene Boyce, 54 of Knottsville passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. He was born December 31, 1970, son of the late Elbert “Eb” and Betty Jean Godwin Boyce. Boo is survived by his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Joseph Boyce.

Boo delivered for Capri Pizza and enjoyed meeting and talking with people while he made deliveries. He worked at Henry’s garage helping out whenever he could. Boo liked being in the outdoors, going fishing in his favorite spots along many river banks and riding his 4wheeler over trails or through the country side. He was a good friend and customer to many where he spent his time playing pool and the slot machines, Double Digits, Big Daddy’s, and the Strand Pool Room. Boo loved being with his friends and family while making many great memories with them over the years.

In addition to his wife, Boo is survived by three children, Tommy Summerfield, Shannon Myers (Justin), Patrick Jacobs (Jasmine); ten grandchildren, Colin, Landon, Alayna, Brooklyn, Brantley, Chris, Jordan, Madison, Wyatt, and Karder; one brother, Carl Tacy (Lana); one sister Ashley Boyce (Jamie); one special nephew, Dommick Biggins; one special niece, Sissy Biggins and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Boo is preceded in death by one sister, Cindy Pinkerman; and one brother, Henry Lewis Boyce.

Boos’ family would like to Thank and extend their gratitude, and appreciation to the West Virginia Caring Hospice for their care.
