Earl Cooper Bartlett, 70 of Lucretia, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at his home. He was born December 12, 1953 in Grafton, son of the late Charles Frederick and Lucille Alice Goff Bartlett.
Earl graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1972. He retired from the B&O Railroad and worked for CSX as a carman, and held the seat of Vice Mayor for the City of Grafton. Earl was a member of the New Testament Church, member of the VFW. Post 3081 Grafton, Taylor County Shrine Club, and Grafton Masonic Lodge #15. He enjoyed being with people, taking long rides on his motorcycle, and enjoyed the time he spent with family and his friends.
Earl is survived by one daughter, Carrie Bartlett, NC, one step son, Matthew Greathouse, Flemington, four brothers, Chuck Bartlett (Diann), Butch Bartlett (Tammy), Greg Bartlett (Becky), George Bartlett all of Grafton, four grandchildren, Isaiah, Jacob, Robert and Harper.
In addition to his parents, Earl is preceded in death by one sister, Paula Bolton.
Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton on Tuesday January 23, 2024 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday January 24, 2024 at Woodsdale Memorial Park the family recommends meeting at Bartlett Funeral Home at 11:15 AM.
