Doris Jean Zinn

Doris Jean Zinn, 67, of Grafton passed away at her residence with her loving family by her side on Friday, April 14, 2023. She was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on January 17, 1956, daughter of the late Charles and Doris Bennett Leach.

Jean graduated from University High School in Morgantown, West Virginia, Class of 1973. She was a Christian and Methodist by faith. Jean worked at Wedgewood Family Practice as a medical records supervisor for many years before serving as a receptionist for Valley Mental Health in Grafton until her retirement. Jean liked to paint, bowl, camp, and watch old TV shows. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Jean’s family was her greatest joy; She will be greatly missed by each of them and all who knew her.

Jean is survived by her husband of over sixteen years, Fred Zinn; Two children, John "Randy" (Brianne) Winston and Elissa (Ben) Miller; Four grandchildren, Braeden Winston, Violet Winston, Cole Miller, and Carter Miller; Stepdaughter, Cassandra (James) Burnworth; Two brothers, Charles (Bobbie) Leach, and Raymond (Linda) Strawser; and two sisters, Pam Devall, and Ginny Boken.

Family and friends will be received for visitation from 3:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, April 20, 2023, at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, WV.
