Dennis Wildman Obituary

Dennis Ray Wildman, 77 of Grafton passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025. He was born October 25,1947 in Parkersburg, son of the late Lawrence and Mabel Wildman.

He graduated from Parson High School and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War receiving numerous awards and medals including two Bronze Stars and one Purple Heart. He worked on the pipeline under the IUOE Local 132 International Union of Operating Engineers. He also ran heavy equipment on several highway projects and he was proud to tell you that dozer man was his specialty. Dennis’s joy in life was living and spending time on the Tygart Lake. He was an avid WVU Football fan and enjoyed hunting.

Dennis is survived by his wife Gail Strawderman Wildman whom he married on July 23, 2022; one son, Michael D Wildman; Linda Hawkins; daughter-in-law, Brandy Wildman; seven grandchildren, Trevor Sacks, Travis Blosser, Bryson Wildman and Sophie, Keeley Wildman, Lexie Wildman, Chase Wildman, and Bailey Wildman; one great grandchild, Rory Wildman; three stepchildren, Shelly Lipscomb Lambert and Larry, York Run, James Lowell Baylor and Brandi Harris, Belington, Jennifer Lou Clair Baylor Nine and Billy, Belington; seven step grandchildren, Seneka Teets, Ethan Teets, Gennifer Friend and Nathan, McKayla Smith and Jamie, Georgia Baylor Larew, Kendell Baylor Nine, Eisen Baylor Nine; six step great-grandchildren, Paisley, Ryhatt, Weylon, Kenna, Bryce, and Navy.
