Dennis "Bub" Wayne Skiles, Sr.

Dennis “Bub” Wayne Skiles, Sr.,75 of Grafton passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Washington Hospital in Washington, Pa. He was born in Grafton on July 31, 1948, son of the late Dennis Burl and Betty Jane Barker Skiles. Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, Lorita Ann “Rita” Scott Skiles, on July 27, 2020.

Bub proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and worked many years as a custodian for the Taylor Board of Education. He enjoyed being outdoors and going camping. Dennis enjoyed the time spent with family and above all loved his grandbabies.

Dennis is survived by two sons, Dennis Skiles Jr. and wife Christina, Steve Skiles and companion Danielle, one daughter, Cheryl Skiles; all of Grafton, eight grandchildren, Kyle Jones, Katelyn Jones, Kayla Jones, Hailey Skiles, Skylar Skiles, Cory Skiles, Shawn Skiles, and Lily Skiles; three sisters,  Billie Jo McDaniel, Linda Lou Powroznik, and LouAnn Moore; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Bub is preceded in death by a one grandson, Chase Jones; two sisters, Ruth Johnson and Nancy Dickey.

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A private graveside service will be held.
