Delmus Franklin Fitzwater

Delmus Franklin Fitzwater 78, of Grafton passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Rosewood Health Center. He was born June 24, 1944 in Simpson, son of the late Elmer Guy and Hettie Richards Fitzwater.

Delmus graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1964. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, watching birds and the wildlife. Delmus loved being with people, he enjoyed talking and visiting with his family and friends.

Delmus is survived by his sister in-law, Carrie Fitzwater of Grafton, a long-time friend, Ann Stout Owens, of Grafton, two nieces, a nephew, and several cousins.

In addition to his parents Delmus is preceded in death by his brother, Ernest “Ernie” Blaine Fitzwater.

A graveside service will be held at noon 12:00 PM  on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Webster, with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating.
