Debora Jane Ware, 69 of Grafton passed away at her home with her beloved family by her side on February 6, 2024. She was born in Grafton, on August 17, 1954, daughter of the late Golden Dale and Virginia Dale Hess Heldreth. Debi is survived by her husband Roger Dale Ware, the love of her life whom she married January 6, 1973, spending over fifty-one years together.
Debi was a graduate of Grafton High School, Class of 1972. She worked as a child care provider at her home and loved the time she spent with each child while holding them in the rocking chair. Debi was also a secretary at the VA Medical Center. She was a lifelong member of the St Augustine Catholic Church. Debi loved life and the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren while making precious memories with each of them.
Debi is survived by three children, Buffy Suzzett Lough (Brian), of Grafton; Roger Dale “ Deuce” Ware ll (Melinda), of Doddridge County ; Virginia Antionetta “Toni” Miller, (Larry) of Bridgeport; ten grandchildren, Dominic Lough, Garrett Ware, Austin Timmons, Donovan Ware, George Brown, Elsie Brown, Isaac Lough, Camille Miller, Cash Ware, and Kase Ware; two great grandchildren, Zander and Willow; three Godchildren, Aaron O’Mara, Alison Duckworth and Anthony Robinson; two sisters, Vickie Cole (Kenneth) and Suzy Heldreth DeJesus (Angel); one brother, Timothy Heldreth (Diane).
In addition, her parents, Debi was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Violet Alexandrea Ware; one brother, Thomas Heldreth; one sister, Janis Kay O’ Mara.
Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, WV., on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 12 PM until 5PM and Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 12PM until 5PM, a Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held at the St. Augustine Catholic Church at 10AM on Monday, February 12, 2024 with Father Babu Joseph officiating.
