David Paul Morrison

David Paul Morrison 62, of Lost Creek, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Clarksburg on May 10, 1961, son of the late Arby C. Sr. and Vana Marie Hawkins Morrison. David is survived by his wife Brenda Moore Morrison whom he married October 2, 1982 spending more than forty wonderful years together.

David worked many years as a well engineer for an oil and gas well service. He spent many hours restoring his classic cars, repairing cars, doing carpentry work and just working with his hands.  He enjoyed going camping with his family where he made many friends sitting around the campfire. He really liked mowing his lawn and taking care of his home. David loved the time he spent with his family and friends and especially loved the time watching his grandsons playing football. David will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

In addition to his wife David is survived by a son, Josh Morrison (Laura) of Philippi; a sister who raised him like her own, Janice Carne (Jeff) of Martinsburg, two grandsons, Dayton Morrison of Philippi, and Carter Morrison of Philippi, a niece Missy Clark (Bruce) of Salem, and also many other brothers,  sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins.

In addition to his parents David is preceded in death by two sisters, Sherrin Morrison and Mary K. Watkins, two brothers, Arby C. (Bucky) Morrison, Jr. and Carl Edward Morrison.
