Cleda Roberta Bartlett

Cleda Roberta Barcus Morris Bartlett 96, of Grafton passed away at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. She was born in Grafton on December 8, 1926, daughter of the late Clyde H. and Lessie Rose Austin Barcus.

Cleda worked at the WV Plastics (Baby World) in the moulding department until she retired. She was a life time member of the VFW Post 3081 Auxiliary, Grafton. Cleda liked working with her flowers and gardening. She enjoyed square dancing and passed a lot of time by crocheting and making many keepsakes. Cleda could meet a stranger and talk to them as if she knew them her whole life. She loved the time she spent with family and friends making many precious memories with each of them. Cleda will be greatly missed by them and all who knew her.

Cleda is survived by two sons, James W. Barcus and Kenneth W. Morris, both from Grafton and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren,  great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cleda is preceded in death by her two husbands, Charles H. Morris Sr., and Frank Bartlett; two sons, Robert L. Morris and Charles H. Morris Jr.; two brothers, Kenneth (Jack) Barcus and Paul L. Barcus; a sister, Olive M. Poling; step mother, Wannie Barcus and step father, Joseph Klepetka.

Family and friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 1:00PM with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating.
