Clarence Gilson Mayle, 66, of Grafton went home to be with the Lord, with his family by his side on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Genell and Teddy Sines. He was born September 23, 1953 in Knottsville, WV, and the son of the late Hartsel and Juanita Dalton Mayle. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Walls Mayle.
He was a graduate of Grafton High School class of 1973, and loved the Bearcats, the WV Black Bears and watching all sports. WVU Football and Basketball Clarence never knew a stranger and enjoyed talking with everyone and anyone about the Lord. His favorite past time was spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by four brothers, Dayton Mayle and companion Angie, NC, Albert Mayle and wife Delberta, Grafton, Dewayne Mayle and wife Cindy, OH, Rick Mayle and wife Angie, Grafton, five sisters, Donna Mayle, Genell Sines and husband Teddy, Teressa Reid, Linda Mumoz all of Grafton, Cindy Stoller and husband Bob, Fairmont, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Elihue Mayle, and John Mayle, and Clinton Mayle, four sisters Freda Mayle, Sandy Mayle, Siann Keener and Doris Marie Mayle, .
Family and friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton, on Monday, June 15, 2020, from 3:00PM to 8:00PM, with proper distancing and face mask required. A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Bartlett Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodsdale Memorial Park.
