Charles Burdell "Bud" Lee

Charles Burdell “Bud” Lee, 80 of Grafton passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. He was born May 9, 1937 in Morgantown, the son of the late Burdell E.  and Alma Lorraine Starkey Lee. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Raschella Lee, they were married over forty six years.

Bud was a Veteran of the US Navy. He graduated from Mannington High School and was an electrician for WV Electric in Fairmont. He belonged to the Grafton VFW Post 3081, Grafton B.P.O.E. 308, American Legion Post 12. He loved to be outdoors and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Keith  Charles Lee, Grafton and Kimberly Lee, Fairmont; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Parrish and husband Ken, Burton, WV, Sharon Thomas, Barricksville, WV; a special niece, Joey Raschella, Fairmont, a special nephew, Mark Cassella and wife Kim,Clarksburg a special friend, Roger Merriman; his four legged friend, Honey.

In additon to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dixie Rose King and Linda Lee; one brother, George Lee; special nephew Michael Raschella.

Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 3-7PM, a Prayer Virgil Service will be at 7:00PM on Monday. A Mass of Christian Burial will  be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Jim O’Connor as celebrant. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post #3081, American Legion Taylor Post #12, Central WV DAV Chapter 24 and their auxiliaries, and the Navy Honor Guard, Bartlett Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lee family. Online condolences can be sent to the Lee family at www.bartlettfuneralhomewv.com
