Charles Wayne "Roger" Gray

Charles Wayne”Roger” Gray, 66  of Grafton, passed away at his home on  Friday, April 6, 2018 with his loving family by his side.  He was born in Grafton, on September 23, 1951, son of the late Harry Basil and Thelma Kelso Gray. He is survived by his wife, Judy Kathrine “Moore” Gray and they were married June 16, 1973.

Charles was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps during Vietnam  He was a diesel mechanic for Central Van Lines. Charles enjoyed his spending time with his family. He loved to work in his garage and being outdoors with his dog Missy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Jennifer Gray and  husband Franklin Tomey, Buckhannon, Charles M. "Chuck"Gray and wife Rachel, Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Jason Charles Gray Sr, Dominic Walker Tomey,  Katie Morris, Nick O’Neill,  four great grandchildren, Jason Charles Gray Jr, Marlei Lynn Gray, Lillian Walker, Paisley Woodson; three brothers, Russell Gray and wife Velma, Grafton, James Gray and wife Flo, Thornton, Michael Gray and wife Gloria, Grafton; two sisters, Jean Tacy and Linda Markley both of Grafton, numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Gray; one sister, Debbie Gay.

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave, Grafton, on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 3-8pm and on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 9:00 am until the funeral hour at 11:00 am with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post #3081, American Legion Taylor Post #12, Central WV DAV Chapter 24 and their auxiliaries, and the   Marines Corps.
