Charles Glynn Edwards

Charles Glynn Edwards, 83, of Grafton, died on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital, in Morgantown.   He was born on December 8, 1937, in Van Alstyne, Texas, a son of the late Edgar Edwards and Ollie Henderson Edwards.  He was married to Betty Jean Edwards, who preceded him in death.

Charles retired from the United States Air Force.  He enjoyed making pottery and watching all forms of wildlife especially deer, horses, and chickens. 

Charles is survived by two very dear friends, David Cantu and Howard Freeze, both of Grafton.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one son, David Edwards and by one brother, Norman Edwards. 

Graveside Services will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 10:00 AM., where full Military rites will be accorded by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the United States Air Force.  Online condolences can be sent to the Edwards family at www.bartlettfuneralhomewv.  Bartlett Funeral Home is honored to serve the Edwards family.
